We still have over 6 months. MN1 completed last night and biometrics is scheduled for Monday. It will be -13 degrees C here on Monday, so why not drag three teenagers into the middle of Boston? Fun...

FINALLY got the right certificate. 577 days total from original application.

Now I get to send it right back to the UK for a passport. Haha.

My package is now taking a tour around the northeast, presumably due to the winter storm backlog. Hopefully it gets delivered this week.

I was told it takes forever because they won’t send a ceremony invite until the certificate is in hand, and the certificates come via diplomatic bag, not by post or electronically.

I live in New England, so I’m assuming my ceremony will be at the consulate in Boston. But, who knows?
