Unless you use cash for everything; your whereabouts will be recorded by your bank transaction records. Also hotels in Europe are increasingly legally obliged to centrally record full passport...

Vodafone have a deal for fibre plus two mobile sims on a twelve month contract.
If I move house (as I hope to) within that year can I just transfer that deal to a new address?

It should be. But both UK and Spain have only worked out my entitlement for the years paid in that individual country. Not pro-rata of my combined entitlement years in both countries.

Assuming you are a UK passport holder and not national of another EU country. You'll need to obtain a visa in the UK before you can move there.

I claimed my pension in UK. Despite stating that I had lived and worked in Spain giving my NIE and Social security number. DWP just gave me my UK pension based on NICs there. After ages on the phone...
