Thank you. Unfortunately due to my 10 month visit to the UK 2023-2024. I've been back in the US for 17 months now. I now cannot apply for citizenship, for another 3 years.

I would suggest becoming a US citizen first, as others have mentioned. Then visit the UK in winter, December, January, February. Which can be very bleak, wet, cold and miserable!
