Terrey Hills is one hour on the bus. Can drive it in 40 mins in no traffic though :)

We drove from Sydney to Dalby to pick up our Border Collie puppy almost a year ago! Had never heard of the place before...

Collaroy - somewhere near the rock pool so the children can easily have the choice of pool or ocean without us having to move!

There are some 7-seaters with rear seats that fold flat into the floor space (eg Nissan Pathfinder) so don't eliminate them without a bit of research - I am sure there are other car manufacturers...
