I understand there is a C41 exemption for your spouse and dependent children once the person on the IEC has secured a skilled (TEER 0,1, or 2, which it looks like you'd have) job, and earnt at least...

Worse yet you still have to pay the Gov't fees on top of that. I believe they will help you up to 35 though so it's an option if you are in that age range.

You can also look at the option of applying for the IEC work permit through a Registered Organisation, such as "Go International". They may sponsor your IEC application, eligible up to 35y/o. Costs...

The CRS score for this draw was 486, similar to the normal express entry draws. So this category draw doesn't help people in STEM industries? Or am I missing something?

I know that the LMIA is supposed to take a long time. But I had read that through the Global Talent Scheme / Global Skills Strategy the processing is supposed to be quicker.
