Simultaneous work permit applications - conflicts?

So after a long time spent messing around with an LMIA application for a role that ended up going nowhere, I found out I was eligible for a IEC work permit using a registered organisation (up to 35yo).
I've put in my IEC Work permit application last week and typically there is now another opportunity come up which might want me to start asap. IEC might take 10 weeks or more I believe and might depend on how particular they are with the police certs, which might take even longer. The company is looking into other options.
My question is, will my having the IEC work permit application in the pipeline adversely affect any of routes we might go down? LMIA and such. Or can we just keep all the options going and then choose whichever comes through first?
thanks!

Thanks for the info! That's kind of what I thought, but when i searched online I could only find information about simultaneous PR streams.
The processing time for the IEC currently says 11 weeks, then I need IRCC to send me a document before I can apply for one of my police clearances, so my application isn't complete yet. I'm concerned it might stretch out a bit. If it is 11 weeks from when I get all the police certs submitted, it could go on forever!
I might be eligible for an LMIA through the Global Talent Stream, which supposedly take 10 business days. Then apply at the POE for the work permit. So I was thinking that might end up being faster.
