Received email today to check my SSA account and my application has been approved. Will be receiving benefits from 3 Apr 2025. Amount is as expected. The only form I sent was my birth...

I'm waiting for FBU to contact me as when I read the FBU instructions on the embassy website, it talks about sending birth certificate plus the name of advisor and the claim...

Sounds good to me. I might wait until FBU or SSA gets in touch as they may have their own in-house system and claim number that could be assigned to my application.

Been trying on phone - got through, but then got message saying fbu is not available right now for phone calls even though it's Tuesday between 9:30 am and 1pm. Tried several times - same outcome.

Thanks for the reply! I do qualify for full UK OAP from March 2029 onwards (Age 67).

Thanks. I cashed them in January this year and will not be claiming SS for a few years. I will receive no benefits from these 3 small pensions in the future.
