Just to feedback that I now have a buildings and contents policy with Liberty Seguros via Harris Insurance, located in Estepona. So, thanks again for all the useful info.
BTW, I can recommend Harris...

You are right, it's home insurance now! However, I will probably drive a car down from Berlin when it's cooler to keep here as run about. So good tips. Thanks

Hi,
Can anyone recommend an insurance company for building and contents. We have almost finished buying an apartment near Estapona and it's just one of the many TTD items.

Thanks, for the replies it does depend on the passport. The CELEX_pdf confirms (the brexit bonus) loss of freedom of movement within the EU.

I am trying to find the rules for UK expats currently living in the EU and wishing to holiday in Spain. If I was living in the UK it would be 90/180 I believe! Are there any expats out there...

Thanks for your response, we actually briefly considered buying an apartment on a golf course. However, we ended up buying not too far away from a couple of courses.
