The UK is not going back into 'lockdown'. Face coverings are mandatory again, working from home is being 'advised' for people who can work at home (which has been the case for most of the year) and...

After consultation with people in Canada (I'm not sure exactly who they spoke to), it came down to the fact it was an NHS result.

Basically, NHS was a no-go regardless of result.

That was my worry too - I tested positive on the 5th and my flight (and negative test) was the 29th.
