Hi all - we're trying to understand what our take-home salary in California will be when we arrive however the world of tax, deductables, HSA's etc is all a bit of a mystery and minefield to us.

Hi all

I have a relocation package offer in my hands and I'm trying to weigh up what the reality actually is.

What I can't visualize is what 500lb's of air freight from the UK to USA (LAX)...

Hey all - so a bit of an update. Will be employed on an L1 Visa - and with a criteria of needing to be in a 2hr commute of San Francisco....thoughts?!

Aware my wife won’t be able to work

Aware of timescales and yes, q3 22 likely to be the time we’re looking at.

I don’t know a lot about Texas; other than HQ is in...

Sorry and on tax, company HQ is based in Dallas, but will be a home working role and my location will be accommodated by my employer

Couple of things..

Likely to rent first so will have time to look around, however, education for the kids is key.

Weather - warmer than the U.K., less...

Hi all
i’ve been offered a role based in the US.

Will need to be able to be in Dallas once a month and San Francisco twice a month.

Also have three children aged 14, 12 and 9 to educate.
