I used Newark as a POE last September. No EAD issued as stated by other posters but it is an easy airport to get in and out of. Be prepared for possibly a long wait in a side room after handing over...

Continuing from my previous post.

After supplying copies and originals of my documents I was asked to sit down
and wait.
Eventually called to see an American official at booth 6.
Very pleasant...

Not sure about K3 interviews but with K1's the embassy clearly states that
you need to supply a single copy of all your documents for them to keep.
If you don't do that they keep the originals.

has some bearing on the interview date they
allocate.
