This is obviously correct if the €4,104 deduction does not apply. As far as I know, we haven't established that as fact yet, so the calculation could be 10% of (€7,176 - €4,104) = €307.20

Really appreciate the posts here and links provided. My current income is circa 10,000€ pa and consists of state pension of 7176€ (not 6600€ as previously stated) with the rest in UK bank/building...
