Chrome worked better for me or sign in in Safari (if you can remember or find your account details)

Once I'd signed in (not by using booking ref) I got to the same screen as Chrome.

I think the 07:00 from Faro is the Alfa Pendular to Lisbon/Porto and doesn't go through Lagos.

There are 9 trains a day from Faro to Lagos starting at 7:11. Timetable here...

As far as I can see it should be €16 (or €12 if you pre-pay). Alternatively get a bus into Faro bus station and get the 57 which appears cheaper.

Yes, EasyToll will work, you can also sign up on your arrival in Portugal providing you enter at one of the 4 points where there is an EasyToll booth.

According to ViaMichelin very little in it in time or money but Badajoz route is much shorter distance.

I prefer the safer full motorway option via Seville for a long drive.

I think a quick check on the erse simulator twice a year is enough to make sure your not missing out on big savings.
