According to my HR manager they wanted to confirm job title, duties, dates of employment, etc.

From what I've heard previously they don't always check references, they only check some at random.

I think it depends on the Doctor involved. My agent told me that some like to send them themselves while others prefer you to do it. I was under the impression my doctor was going to send them off...

I spoke to a representitive from Malaysian Airlines at the recent Expo in London. He also told me to book through an agent rather than direct. He said it is still slightly cheaper.

Some airlines offer tickets which allow a bit of flexability with your dates once you're booked. These however, are usually more expensive that fixed-date flights.

Spoke to my agent and he said that Adelaide has assured him they are getting stuck into the backlog this week and have taken extra staff specifically for this task.

Hopefully things should start...
