Could anyone advise anything please? I resubmitted mine and my daughters passports on 10.09.2018. Daughters passport was returned with visa on 24.09.2018. Her visa is expiring on 13.10.2018.

This is simply torture. My daughter’s passport was returned, her visa is expiring in 12 days, and mine still hasn’t. I’m having a bloody mental breakdown

Citizenship. Our daughter was not eligible for citizenship at the time. We were told to apply for settlement visa. Which we did and were successful. Regards.

That’s exactly what we did, applied for British citizenship using this form. But those applications considered at the Home Secretary’s discretion. And ours was refused with no reason whatsoever.

Thank you. We tried applying for citizenship but were refused, as my husband wasn’t habitually resident in UK at the time of adoption, therefore adoption could not be made under Hague convention. So...

I resubmitted my passport in Tbilisi, it was sent to Istanbul, then I got it in Tbilisi.

My daughter has just been given ILE, her adopted father is British, I applied for a settlement visa at the same time as her. Does it mean she's been given the wrong type?
