We arrived with about 20k with 4 kids of similar ages as yours. Bought a used mpv ($14k) and set them up at public schools for a total cost of $1600. There was no way to househunt and send the kids...

We found our rental the afternoon before we were supposed to move out! That was 4 years ago, in Brisbane. But it goes to show that things will work out some how... just keep trying. All the best!

Visa granted 11 Nov 2004 - must not arrive after 11 Nov 2009. Multiple Travel. Permitted to remain in Australia indefinitely.

Entered Australia 20 Feb 2005. Left 21 Feb 2007. Which means 20...

Good question. We had to leave immediately after 2 years, so there wasnt time to apply for citizenship. The biggest obstacle is the no dual citizenship policy in our country. :(

We heard from friends that once your permanent residency is granted and you've arrived and settled, the type of visa does not quite matter anymore so long as you observe...

We've used ozforex a few times now, to and fro 3 countries. The staff are helpful and patient.

Ozforex and Transferz are the same. The latter is for lesser amounts.

the price of the property. In Queensland, property below $250,000
