190 visa not an option as we are going to Melbourne where my family live, also have 2 young kids so don't want to move them schools etc more than I have to.

I have an overall 8.0 for my academic IELTS exam with lowest score being 7.5. I am wondering what the scoring system for points is based on for IELTS ie general/academic?

My assumption was that you should apply under the code of which you plan to work/meet experience standards for - at least that’s my plan, I’m a registered adult nurse but applying under Crit care/...
