You're right, I perhaps overstated the minor inconveniences of moving here. There is a lot of great things about Canada but I'm just trying to say the societal norms and so on are vastly different...

I live in London, ON. I can tell you the area you're looking at (depending on where you ultimately end up) is quite leafy/green and quiet. You'll be right next to a really nice park (Springbank Park)...
