A green card isn't a valid entry document if you have been away for more than 6 months or a year.

I'll try and contact the embassy, they probably forgot.

SB1 - Affidavit of Support

Does anyone know if the last step of a SB-1 (approved) immigrant visa application requires an affidavit of support? It doesn't appear to, as the applicant is also the petitioner but others may know...

My SB-1 visa application was approved. I did not want to risk flying back, especially after reading they could let me back in, but months or years later still have problems.

You may be understandably nervous about such a serious issue, and reading too much into which embassy you go to. The London one, especially the new one, has always treated me fairly and efficiently....
