The ladies at the VFS centre are absolutely lovely! What day was your decision officially made? You can email and ask for the exact date decision was made then count 3-4 working days from that day. ...

I second that. The responses you get via email make slightly more sense than the ones you receive via the telephone operators.

Hi there - yes, was requested in error to send documents over to them again on the 26th Sept. On the 29th Sept they then tell me that the message was incorrectly sent to me after I went into the VFS...

Apparently a decision has been made on my application as of Thursday, 5th Oct (applying from Hong Kong, priority, bio: 28th Jul). Found out by emailing and calling UKVI, but to date, have not...

OH! Wonder if it's a Hong Kong thing? I plan to go into the VFS HK centre on Monday to see if they've received my passport back and I'll keep you posted. I'm just a bit worried as UK Decision...

You could go back to your local visa centre and ask them to help you drop an email to Sheffield ensuring they still have your documents.

Where are you applying from? You may want to do what I did as mentioned in my previous post.
