:D Did I hear my name? Thanks, Rene! Hi Everybody! I'm doing fine and well - living happily ever after with my now USC hubby and just checking in to say hello.

Re: Happy birthday [Marnee]

Oh gosh, if Starbucks offered pedicures, I'd never leave! Actually, there is a little strip mall within walking distance with all kinds of fun ways to spend money.

Re: K-2 age out news

Have you had any time for sight-seeing? I have never been up that far, but I have been thinking about taking a cruise from Seattle up to Alaska to check it out. Maybe next summer.

Re: Advise needed

My two cents is that, if I were in your situation, because you are not married and already back home, I would do a k-1. Use the proof that you two already have that you have met in person and your...

Re: Advise needed

Re: Advise needed

So, whether they do a k1, k3, or CR1, she should still be able to sign the forms if the NVC will recognize her emanicpation status. This sounds like a good question for an immigration attorney...

Re: Advise needed

Okay... I think I got it. The guy came over on a k3, which only needs an I-134. Then once here, they got married, which made her legally emancipated and therefore could sign as an adult.

Re: K1 - Potential Hicups

You seemed to almost be bragging about not turning in your your form when you left the U.S., as if you could trick them into believing you left on time. My point is that if you choose to break the...

Re: K1 - Potential Hicups

Why should Homeland Security allow you back in when you have such complete disregard for our laws? You do the crime, you do the time.

Re: Advise needed

This was recent - a year or two ago. The guy is a friend of my husband, and I also questioned her age and signing the I-864, which is why I remember the situation. Maybe nobody noticed her age... i...

Re: Advise needed
