Ah yeah sorry wasn't clear. I know it would be the IVP as its referred too. I was interested to know how long the visa is valid for to enter the US from the UK. Wasn't sure if there is a time frame...

Ideally yes he would like to work he doesn't have education/skills that are in demand though. I know the H1B and o-1 he couldn't work. The eb-2 he can and the L-1B he can. I know he could study on...

May sector is quite different to Bio-science and is more Environmental research and risk assessments. From my research so far Ecotoxicology/toxicology and certain teaching / and life science...

Thanks all for this its useful reading. I think the O-1 maybe too much of a mountain to climb, however I will talk to a lawyer. J-1 again I will look into.

thats interesting thanks. I have looked for lawyers but some look dubious. Any recommendations ? Is it better to use a US based or UK based one ?

This was the route I was looking at however it just seems to be near impossible with the cap (without research institutions) or even with institutions it’s difficult to convince them from the UK!
