Well. Actually if your investment pass 500k and / or hires certain amount of people, you can file for green card while on e2 visa.
And it's easier to get to it as the investment sum combines...

Well actually you don't need so much money to immigrant to USA. I've done it as a European citizen and got an e2 visa with about 45,000 usd investment in a restaurant. Process took about 3 months and...

You can get e2 visa by investing in multiple options. I've done it in the restaurant business and it's quite easy
