HSBC often add another level of complexity to things when you request for something that people dont usually ask for every day. I find that Halifax/Lloyds are more helpful on these requests.

After the escalation, got an email from their deferrals team asking for more details of my employment.. excited for 10 mins then back to the waiting queue again...

2 weeks gone with no news. Have both emailed and called the VISA centre, the last attempt I called in and spoke on behalf of my fiancee, by calling the UK visa office and surprised that I can enquire...
