Re: Boarding Procedures at YYZ with Air Canada?

Yep, but as said, it might not be an airline thing at all. Boarding at LHR seems to go way smoother than at YYZ.

I would largely guess that boarding procedures are down to the airline, but...

Re: 2G network in Canada? Shutdown?

That's the version I've also found out. However I don't think it's correct.

( I've tried to google but didn't find anything )

Just wondering, when will the 2G network in Canada shut down? ( 2G is an older network for those who don't know.....)

My phone apparently still...

Re: Service Ontario change of address online?

I did it in person in the end.

The problem is that there is some kind of 60 or 90 day rule in place, when you can change an address online. This would also be the case if your OHIP and G Class...

Hudson's Bay in Toronto, business hours?

Does Hudson's Bay in Toronto really open as late as 11am every day? Just wondering is this normal? Or do they have problems in their business?
I find 11am unusually late.

Re: Uk passport renewal

So, I take it you fly to the UK with the old passport, appointment 15 days ahead, required photographs to hand, visit a HM Passport Office in the UK, get the passport on the same day, if not within a...

Re: UK/US couple considering move to Éire

Yes, the countryside and the beaches are lovely, sometimes better than in the UK.

Ireland on the other hand isn't that great to retire, unless you have a lot of money. Many things are more...

Re: Germany and the rise of the AfD, should we be worried?

But again, that wasn't the reason for the posting.

It's the rhetoric coming out of the AfD these days, which I find bothersome.

Re: Sex for rent issues in Dublin

It'll probably continue to happen.
At least law makers have understood and recognized that it is a problem and it can't be downplayed with the usual "it's happening in other cities as well"....
