Re: Can I register a car if I have a holiday home?

What is the excess on that, who is it with and where do you collect / drop off?
Is there unlimited mileage with that price?
what about additional drivers?

Thanks

Can I register a car if I have a holiday home?

I have been going through this forum and there is loads of info, mostly contradicting each other, on whether I can register or buy a car in Hungary and keep for when I spend holidays in Hungary.
Any...

Re: Good / Bad areas & Estate Agents !

Re: Good / Bad areas & Estate Agents !

Thanks Wolfi, but the quiet life is what we want! I was asking if they are good / bad. Crime, derelict village or nice, clean, etc. Bus services, quality of roads, etc. Known for friendly neighbours...

Re: Good / Bad areas & Estate Agents !

Any thoughts on the villages and towns just South of Lake Balaton?
Karad, Taska, Nikla, Marcali, etc. Ideally within 15KM's (as the crow flies) South of Balaton.
Thanks again.
Great...

Re: Good / Bad areas & Estate Agents !

Re: Good / Bad areas & Estate Agents !

The agents you have just mentioned are the ones that I mentioned originally requesting a 33% deposit ! That is something that I am not willing to pay.
When I questioned the gentleman why it was so...

Peter_in_Hungary.
If a Wine house / Vineyard was to be changed by this 'Zart Kert' then would it mean the house could be extended in size or additional buildings to be added to the land? Also, I...

Maybe I should just concentrate on what I know - Germany and Black sea resorts in Bulgaria.
A whole world away from how it appears in...

Re: A Rough Guide to Tradesmen Prices

I am very interested in a rural property in North Zala. It has no water or sewage (wine house). There is no local sewage so a cess pit would be required, along with fitting a toilet / shower / sink...
