Well his work permit is now expired by 4 months. I guess I won't mention that and hope they don't ask. His new passport has no stamps anyway :)

If you think that's the right course I'll dump him...

My bad, that was his passport. The expiry is 14th April 2016.

The expiry is the 8th June 2020.

Apparently the work permit was his proof of status in Canada. He couldn't go to their office with an expired work permit. They said he needed to get it reinstated first.

Is this incorrect because...
