Sadly that is the case and I have no doubt that we are ignorant of many cases where exploitation. pollution and corporate dollar forced changes to many indigenous peoples take place.

Yes we have been complacent and gullible but then with marketing and PR on the goody goody front by Business and Governments is it any wonder.

I meant that not all areas of this earth are touched...

Not everyone Wants to escape the capitalist globalisation of food stuffs etc and yes difficult if everybody did.

That is what I was concerned about - I wonder why the delay. The vendors setting that or the legal process etc. I guess just another point to clarify when looking at property and getting own legal...

I am sure there must be a thread here on property purchase time frames so to speak. For example if you conclude a contract of sale / purchase how long before you can move in, assuming its vacant.

I just think after travelling to the ferry terminal in the Uk then 20 some hours over a hotel real close to the ferry would be good.

I am sure many here in the Uk seldom use a landline but the way the contracts are with ISP you have to have the land line and pay for it usually around £16/month even if you have cable internet and...
