Hi Rene - I meant conditional permanent residence - not temp.


Employer files I-129S to renew that. She is filing her own AOS/I-131/I-765. I am going to suggest that she waits until November...

I suggested that Rene - her concern is that although her L1-A runs until 2021, her I-129S is stamped only until Feb 2018. I know it should be OK since it is the employer that files for this - she was...

but I mean, if it takes 5 months to get temp residence and she moves after 3 months - It won't go to the back of the line again in Miami - will it?

Yes..he can. We just wanted time to settle in, get employment auth etc. It is not preferable for him to come now...but may be best option. As I am not related, it might take my soon to be wife, a lot...

So another point - she doesn't take him with her for medical or interview. He is still on the petition. She will be in the US in August/September 2015. DOes that petition survive for later for him?...

Thanks. So can he get the K2 issued without a medical and have that later before he travels or is the medical a requirement prior to visa issuance. I assume the latter. Thanks guys - this is helping...

Yes..its an interesting one. She keeps hearing conflicting stories and I cant get a definitive answer from gov websites. I am a dual USC/UKC by the way.
