We have currently applied for Contributory Parent Visa 173 (in June 2016). At that time the processing time was 18-24 month and has now increased to 34-36 months!
Would it be possible to re-apply...

:thumbup: Yes that's the answer I wanted. We can either have a holiday and return to UK until house sold or go for good after house is sold (as long as it doesn't take a year!!!)

Does anyone know the validation period for a 173 visa after it has been granted? We have just sent off our application so don't expect to get the visa for 18-24 months.
