Well that has me a little worried but looking back over the Financial Requirement Doc it would appear that we should be ok :

9.5.2. Where the applicantâ€™s partner is in self-employment overseas...

We too are planning to move back in June (to Scotland) and will be bringing our dog. We actually spent a year in Scotland 3 years ago and took our dog then. The regulations are even easier to deal...
