Congrats! Hopefully will be a similar time frame this end as I'll be a lot happier knowing it's all sorted before Xmas. Savings are slowly but surely running dry!

Thanks Andrew, thought that in the end so sent it all there, but the wording is terrible as it doesn't say London or Ottawa throughout the document until the end, and even there it doesn't mention...

Not sure sorry, everytime I had checked before today it was just application received. Last time was probably about a month ago. Don't believe I had an email to say it had changed.

I'll be doing something similar although will probably come in as a leisure tourist and then extend my return flight and not really mention the dual intent thing as I don't know what benefit you get...

So after a bit of googling it seems as you you can walk over the rainbow bridge at Niagara, tell them your intentions and go back without a lot of hassle.

Thanks again, so am I correct in thinking that I will need to get a US Visa to cross the border, perhaps at Niagara Falls as I will be in Cambridge ON, spend a day or so over there and then come back...

I have finally sent off the Outland Family Class Spousal immigration forms to Mississauga so that's one thing out of the way.:thumbsup:
