thank you for the replies - I also dug around and from the UK Govt website I saw that its basically 3 months to be eligible for Job Seekers Allowance and some other benefits - I will look into Income...

housing is NOT that expensive in Switzerland but obtaining a mortgage is....banks require a much larger deposit- too large for most people tbh

also you must factor in that in general the rented...
