Well I suppose I could look more into the student visa. It's definately one way to go. Just need to decide what I want to learn.

yeah I've looked at that option, but the course that I would study is like $20k.

We haven't done our IELTS, (didn't want to spend loads of money at once) but expect to get top scores (both being native english speakers and taken the practice tests and getting top scores) so...

Well I've finally recieved my qualifications back from WES. (after my balls up)

Both BTEC & HND have come back as 2 years each :( So we now have to set our sites on getting a job and LIMA.

We found some practice papers online and have both scored top marks, so we're happy about that. But we're just waiting for WES to do the ECA and see what education Hubby has before we take the IELTS....

I’m currently awaiting my husbands BTEC National Diploma in Computing and HND in computing from WES. But I think we’ll only have enough points for the 2 year education one which bro has our score...

Yeah, Which menas we'll have to sell the house before the proof of funds is needed. If they ask for proof of funds, does that normally mean you've been accepted?

Also the reason we score low is due to neither of us working in Canada and also education (Which i'm hoping will be sorted once the ECA comes...

I haven't done the IELTS yet as we're waiting to see what Hubbys certificates come back as, as if they come back rubbish, then with 395 we have to really think about the next best way to go about...

Yeah but it's $280 for about 3 points for me as we'll using hubby as the main application. It's not really worth it is it? My highest level is just AS levels so nothing amazing

What qualifications did she get assesed and what did they asses them as being?

I was also having a think, I only did 1 year of college, do I need to get those acredited? or even secondary school...

Is there any point in sorting the BTEC? It's more the HND that is needed isn't it?
