My current plan is to come over to Spain on a trial/holiday, rent for 6 months, and after the 6 months are up decide whether i would be happy staying on a longer basis.

Can i take my Jersey...

It's there now, seems like it had to be approved by a mod first as i'm new to the forum!

I'm very interested to find out about driving licences too, something that had not crossed my mind...

I'm from Jersey and looking into moving to Spain myself.

The way i understand it to work is that Channel Island residents who have UK born parents or grandparents have full EU residency rights.
