I've given up and just transferred my balance to my Mum's account.

She now lives in Turkey too so we're just hoping the mainland HSBC don't do the same as Barclay's Int.

I don't know the value and the pension people couldn't tell me straight off.
I'm waiting for an email from the bank telling me the value if I wait till 60, take in at 55 or...

No luck with Abby Nat International. They want a min balance of 50k- same as HSBC.
