What is a reasonable commission you have seen? Is it a flat fee or %?

Saw a few threads about transferring money but not exactly what i was looking for. We are selling our UK property and looking to bring the money to the US (Texas). There are so many options...

I think this is very true, i think if you are happy with the rate then dont look back. Otherwise you will torture yourself for years thinking about how much extra you could have had

I did check State Farm but needed a SSN. Erie didnt cover my location.

Geico looked ok, i am trying to insure my watch and wifes engagement ring too but a lot of policies need a separate insurance...

She will be absolutely fine, i think it is more a mental block and worrying. Once she gets to Austin she will be stuck in traffic anyway :lol:

I wouldnt want her to think the test is just driving...

Thats what i heard but they did it 10 years ago and i was thinking it may have become a bit more sophisticated since then.
