Police checks for Vietnam

Has anyone any experience in obtaining police checks from Vietnam?

We lived there from 1997 until 1999, so will need to obtain them.

On the DIMIA information it says non-resident, non-citizens...

Sound to me like it will have been lodged - at the 115 passmark.

We faxed the minimum requirements for lodging to a courier in Adelaide this morning, and it was delivered soon after, so ours...

We are going to use the Hyatt hotels business centre!! I spoke to them today and they guaranteed delivery within 2 hours of the documents being received.

I hope they aren't inundated with faxes...

Oh, forgot to say, they will send a "receipt acknowledgement" email to you saying they will reply in 5 working days - which, due to Easter, basically takes you to the 16th April!!

Even if it isn't delivered tomorrow - it definitely will be on Tuesday, so I would quit worrying!

I think it depends on which area you want - the website (www.immi.gov.au) has all the email addresses

Hmm, having just read form 47P it sounds as though you have to write to Indonesia for the "Good conduct certificate"

Personally I would go to the Embassy anyway to see if they can offer any...

Yes, go to the Indonesian embassy in Singapore, they will sort it out.
