This is exactly what we thought might be happening. He is the LA side. In the same email he told us it had been checked, the ship hadn't docked, and that it would be checked as 'most shipments are'

our container was stopped and searched by US customs. The info we have from our movers is vague at this stage! We forgot about some herbs and some cornmeal which we packed by our superfast packing...

maybe I haven't been clear. We have a good policy which was recommended to us by expats, we just didn't really understand exactly how it worked. Th company have paid for it so we aren't going to end...

no it isn't travel insurance, it's an expat insurance because when it was set up we didn't have a social security no or anything so it was the only option given to the company as far as i know. It...
