I'm comfortable with driving with any licence, valid or not, but I'm concerned about insurance in the case of a collision. As Busybee mentioned, I could be potentially not covered by the policy then....

Royal Mail redirection seems to be a good option. I didn't know they could forward your mail abroad. Also, I'm considering MBE, I'm not sure if anybody tried them?

Just a reminder- we're talking about Saudi Arabia, where I'm not allowed to drive or get a local licence.
It seems like UK licence should be valid in other EU countries until it expires, not sure...
