Yeah I'm not sure why they're sending me there and not NYC, i guess its county based perhaps? Or travel duration would be similar to either (although total mileage is much less to NYC).

Biometrics appointment done - took all of 5 minutes from walking in to walking out, very impressed.
Now just wait to see if there's an RFE or interview I guess.

Should be able to get the extension stamp in your passport to extend status if GC doesn’t arrive in the year. That’s what i though anyway?

Finally received the receipt and the money was taken. Haven't heard anything else form them yet, but glad that I can now renew my driving license before it expires!

Sent off my i751 removal of conditions packet on April 30th.

Wondering how how long it takes (in people’s recent experience) for either the receipt to arrive or the money to be taken...

They’re in Philly, we’re at West Point, NY (2.5hrs away). We lived in Philly (at their address) throughout my K1 > LPR process, and am back in the city regularly.

It really is! Tough walking to get anywhere in Philly! Plus means I won't have to use public transport as much anymore which is definitely nice.

- Driving permit - done (and scarily easy)! Test booked next week.
- State ID - done!
- Permanent Resident (green) card in the mail! Should arrive within three weeks!

No restriction, just says about needing DHS authorization to work, but that's simple to fix. Needed SSN for a bunch of stuff so was more detrimental to not have it.
