Much better opportunities in my opinion, its a large salary increase, projects in the US are 20x the size that we have here in the UK, and the UK isn't what it was anymore imo, I've never really had...

Fortunately there is no "formal" training required to be a Care Giver, most of the job adverts etc and what we have read all say that you need relevant experience in the industry etc, to then move...

So just done some rough numbers, with taxes, medicare etc, im probably looking at around $10,000 per month after taxes. Obviously this could vary to more or less. But I will use that as a base line....

Thanks for this. Makes an interesting read. I dare say from the general comments etc, Texas seems to be the safe bet, but that also opens up a lot of options.

Yeah, one of the Vice Presidents of the company lives in San Fran and told me it was incredibly expensive lol.

So, managed to get some better information on the salaries, so this ranges from -

Texas - $185,750
New York $170,500 - $250,000 (depending on area)

Others -
Washington
California
San Fran

I've done a bit more research on the Texas side but that was mainly because that was one of the first places that was mentioned. Salary wise it works out quite well there for the housing prices etc....

Yeah it's worth thinking about twice. I mean on my Ipad (I probably won't take laptop) it only shows my most 60 recent emails and that's it, no more can be accessed, it's more if they took my email...
