More importantly, I can't find anything that says you can apply for permanent residency after you're working using Graduate Work Experience visa.

Well, it's still good to know that the job market is at the very least "open" unlike in Japan for example, the job market AND immigration are "generally" unfavorable.

The procedures are fine, I guess. What worries me most is the actual chance of being granted a student visa and a post-grad work permit as I've heard that the chances are higher in NZ than in Canada....
