My wife watched that episode, and she found it very infomrative and would love to buy a place as soon as we move. Personaly, I don't intend to buy a place for at least a year after we move.

Thanks for starting this thread, Arsnlno1, as your circumstances are very like mine (leaving the Granite City for Spain, but rotating job in oil).

We've also decided on Valenica, and plan to rent...
