Going by the immi.gov site I would say my job title is a cross between "Electrical Engineering Draftsperson 312311 Engineers Australia" and the one you quoted. I am qualified to do both and carry out...

Sadly the term 'Engineer' is the same for UK and Oz. I'd be looking for a job as a Instrument Designer, sometimes referred as an Instrument Drafter in OZ going by job advert info. I will try...
