so it worked! i just checked on my ead status on egov.uscis.gov and entered my ead receipt number and it says card/document production!

On July 18, 2013, we ordered production of your new card....

i just find it quite annoying it costs so much and it takes so long, have there been cases where it comes in a month? by the time august 1 comes along i shall have been waiting close to six weeks

seems pointless though if they then use the biometrics ones. was quite an annoying experience all in all, you'd expect uscis to employ people who can speak english. i ended up getting bossed around...

I'm just wondering if the picture taken when i get my biometrics done will be used on my green card and ead? wasn't really happy at all with it, the bucket of sweat and red cheeks didn't look too...

I've been googling and it looks like if you call the uscis they can fax a copy in emergencies, i'll try that and if nothing, just go with all the papers i have and my a# and my case number and...

i know i am the biggest dummy around but i have mislaid/lost my appointment letter.. my appointment is tomorrow at 1230. i have every other letter they sent me and i can bring these and my passport...

also another thing- i obviously included my middle name in my i485 and i765 applications..i'm not really fond of it, will i be able to ask them to not include my middle name for the ead and green...

i wasn't expecting this but i got the i797c notice in the mail today, giving me my biometrics appointment on june 24. i only sent out the i485 and i765 package last week so it has came rather quicker...
