I got similar results and submitted the original certificate in July 2003. Only the original is acceptable as written by Andrew. You can request for extra copy of the test results for your keep.

It's not only at Damascus where such long wait is common, Accra is another post with similar timeline.

Applied to Accra and have been advised it could take up to 4 years. I wont be so worried...
