Before I got my pp request, I used to do a statistical analysis of the website, and calculate what percentage of applicants were getting their request sooner than me. That was a pretty bad addiction.

Believe it or not, there is hope. I get my pp Oct 1, landed Nov. 26. Yesterday I logged onto e-client for kicks AND I HAD FORGOTTEN MY FILE NO. AND HAD TO LOOK IT UP!!!!

it already had noted that I had landed.

Well....I know have a printout of the e-client screen on my bathroom mirror. This way I keep an eye on my case status when shave.
I'll let you all know when I get it framed and move it to my living room.

I'm actually noticing that I have an obsession with checking the status of things on the internet. For example, when I send letters by FEDEX or US Express mail, I keep checking the status of the letter step by step....... I'm really worried about myself

Immigration will do that to you. I have been wondering if I should send an occasional Fedex to the embassy just to have something more to check.

Don't know how often I check e-client daily; the Britishexpats and immigration.ca pages are left opened on my pc throughout the day. I just added yogi799 and have started doing permutations, I ask my friend if he goes to the post office everyday (of course he doesn't and this makes me mad).

I went on vacation and had to quickly sign up for internet access to be able to check things up.

Is this normal?

After reading these threads and smiling in agreement with so many of you, I think CIC should include a complimentary bottle of Jack Daniels with every application kit.
