Hi all,

another dog related question :) Is there such a thing as pet insurance in Italy?
If so, do vets generally accept it or not?

Thanks. I've heard from someone else that it's not a good area so I've started looking elsewhere. I've been recommended porta ticinese, porta romana and san donato so have started looking there :)

Thanks for the reply. I think my brother's decided to leave the SBT at home when he comes over with me. All the countries we pass through have come back saying there's no issues with him...

If I was to drive through France and then go into Italy from France, is that going to be really expensive with the toll roads? Are the tolls expensive in general? Just if I can stick to one country...

One of mine (Patterdale Terrier) would probably harrass all the other animals throughout the whole journey, from within his crate - Small Dog Syndrome!!

However, I've been looking at the routes...

Thanks Scratcher. Much appreciated. I've had a look at the journey by car, and avoiding tolls it will be about 22 hours, with 3 drivers and the regular stops it's likely to be about 2.5/3 days! ...

Thanks, I think private letting will be best for me as the agency fee's are quite high. I found a form for the CF so will sort that out asap :) Thanks for your help.
