As ever - always lots to weigh up. Capital gains tax is only payable when the property is sold, if you keep it then it's always there as a safety net . Some people are risk takers, others more risk...

Seems like we'll need to consider visas again - the possibility of renting out a property will need to be explored. Portfolio of 300 properties! No wonder the prices of new apartments are sky high...

I suppose I'm thinking that the temporary route is cheaper initially and can be converted to the CPV after 2yrs so would give us the opportunity to make sure it's really what we want.
